This work has an old lining applied with glue. The painting is well stretched. Although there is some unevenness to the lined canvas, it is not necessarily recommended that lining be re-examined. There are restorations that are adequate. Most of these retouches are visible under ultraviolet light. They are added in small spots throughout the work, none of which are concentrated in any particular area. There are some areas which may not have been recently cleaned, such as the blue sky for instance, and these areas may have older retouches.
