Condition
The cube and pyramid sculptures display an aged and weathered steel surface that is consistent in appearance with one another. In both sculptures the steel has oxidized to a dark grey color and they both exhibit significant areas of corrosion on all faces. Extensive pitting and scratches cover all of the surfaces, which is characteristic of weather steel. Corrosion can be found in the pitting and in the scratches. One face on each sculpture has thick spots of corrosion on the surface. These faces appear to be the bottom surfaces of the sculptures. Several tips on the pyramid are slightly bent. There is a ¼ nick on one of the edges near a tip that was found on the pyramid. A large 1 1/2 x 3/4 spot of thick corrosion that appears more like an accretion was observed on top of the cube.
