CS 69278, stating that the cushion-shaped padparadscha sapphire weighing 8.98 carats, measuring 12.88 x 11.52 x 5.35 mm, is of Ceylon origin, with no gemmological evidence of heat. Stamped 585 for 18 carat gold and Pt950 for platinum. The sapphire of light orange-pink colour, with good transparency, some typical crystal inclusions. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 3.00 - 3.50 carats, G-I colour, VS-SI clarity, as gauged and graded in the mount. Little signs of wear to the metal. In very good condition. Gross weight approximately 10 grams.
