Accompanied by Cisgem short report no 1122, stating that the emerald, measuring approximately 22.96 x 19.02 x 13.32 mm and weighing approximately 42.00 carats (stone was unmounted and the correct weight is 36.18 carats), was found to have a moderate clarity enhancement with resin. Italian maker's mark and inscribed Made in Italy. Stamped 750 for 18 carat gold, mounted in white gold. Emerald , green of medium strong saturation, good transparency, with typical crystal inclusions visible to the naked eye, few nicks and abrasions. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 16.00 - 18.00 carats, on average G-I colour (a few J), VS clarity, as gauged and graded in the mount. Clasp secure, safety latch below. Signs of little wear to the metal, consistent with light use. In very good condition. Gross weigh approximately 39 grams.
