The garland brooch accented with flower motifs set with circular-cut sapphires and diamonds, the leaves and stems highlighted with calibré-cut and marquise-shaped diamonds, signed Van Cleef & Arpels, numbered, French assay and maker's marks; the other brooch designed as a floral spray, set with pear-, marquise-shaped, brilliant- and calibré-cut diamonds.

Condition
Sapphire and diamond brooch: Signed Van Cleef & Arpels, numbered 87-192, French maker's mark for Van Cleef & Arpels. French assay marks for platinum and gold. Sapphires weighing a total of approximately 5.00 - 7.00 carats, blue of medium strong saturation, well matched in colour, with very few typical crystal inclusions. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 8.00 - 10.00 carats, on average G-I colour, VS clarity, as gauged and graded in the mount. Rotating safety catch. Signs of normal wear to the metal consistent with use. In very good condition.
Diamond brooch: Stamped 750 for 18 carat gold. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 8.00 - 10.00 carats, on average H-J, VS-SI clarity, as gauged and graded in the mount. Sliding safety catch. Signs of normal wear to the metal consistent with use. In good condition.
Total gross weight approximately 37 grams.
