Description
- Emeralds, diamonds, gold
Each set with a cushion-shaped emerald weighing 1.69 and 2.00 carats respectively, framed with circular-cut and cushion-shaped diamonds, post and hinged back fittings later added.
Condition
Accompanied by SSEF report no. 82664, stating that the emeralds weighing 1.69 and 2.00 carats and measuring 8.65 x 7.57 x 3.59mm and 8.99 x 7.98 x 4.11mm, are of Colombian origin, with a minor and a moderate amount of oil in fissures, respectively.
Emeralds green of medium strong saturation, with typical inclusions, some surface reaching, a few abrasions and nicks; for further details on the emeralds, please refer to the SSEF report. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 6.50 - 7.50 carats, on average I-K colour, SI-I calrity, as gauged and graded in the mounting. Signs of wear to the metal consistent with age and wear. The prongs would benefit from the attention of a jeweller.
