Comprising: a necklace set with a graduated line of cabochon rubies within a mount set with brilliant-cut diamonds, length approximately 465mm, a pair of ear clips set with similarly cut diamonds, suspending a swing set cabochon ruby, a bracelet, inner circumference approximately 160mm, and a ring, size 501/2, each signed A. Reza, French assay and maker's marks.
Condition
Rubies of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US; this piece may contain a ruby of Burmese origin and therefore may not be able to be imported into the US. Certification of non-Burmese origin is required before the import of rubies into the US. Please see our Important Notices and contact the jewellery department for further information.
All pieces signed A. Reza, all with maker's marks. All pieces stamped with French assay marks and 750 for 18k gold. Ear clips: Rubies stated to weigh a total of 27.24 carats, diamonds stated to weigh a total of 13.66 carats.
Ring: Ruby stated to weigh 35.36 carats, diamonds stated to weigh a total of 4.86 carats.
Bracelet: Diamonds stated to weight a total of 23.60 carats. Necklace: Rubies stated to weigh a total of 196.02 carats, diamonds stated to weigh a total of 74.50 carats.
All: Rubies overall well matched, with typical surface reaching inclusions. Diamonds on average G-H colour, VS clarity (few I), as gauged and graded in the mount. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with use. In good condition. Total gross weight approximately 329 grams.
