Composed of three strands of pearls, the front decorated with a detachable pendant set with an hexagonal carved emerald weighing 18.02 carats, framed with brilliant-cut diamonds on an open work gold mount, length approximately 375mm, signed A. Reza, numbered, French assay and maker's marks.
Condition
Accompanied by SSEF report no. 64812, dated 10 September 2012, stating that the emerald, measuring approximately 23.50 x 16.45 x 6.65 mm, is of Colombian origin, with a moderate amount of oil in fissures; together with SSEF report no. 82355, stating that the majority of the pearls were found to be natural, saltwater.
Signed A.Reza, maker's mark. Stamped with French assay marks and OR 750 for 18 carat gold. Detachable pendant engraved E 18.02 and B 2.81 referring to the weight of the emerald and the diamonds, clasp engraved B 0.40 referring to the total weight of the diamonds. Emerald green of medium strong saturation, with typical inclusions, minor nicks and scratches; for further details on the stone, please refer to the gemmological report. Pearls of white body colour, minor blemishes, good lustre; for further information, please refer to the SSEF report. Diamonds on average G-H colour, VS clarity. Clasp secure, safety catch below. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with use. In good condition. Total gross weight approximately 55 grams.
