Designed as a crescent millegrain-set with calibré-cut emeralds, circular- and single-cut diamonds, suspending a swag motif set with three step-cut emeralds, circular-cut and rose diamonds, unsigned, one small diamond deficient, fitted case signed Chaumet, the exterior of the case with the monogram G.B.M. and a Marquis crown. 

Emeralds well matched in colour, with typical inclusions, some surface reaching, nicks, abrasions and cavities. The largest emerald measuring approximately 11.04 x 8.23 x 5.53mm, calculated to weigh approximately 3.40 carats. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 5.50 - 6.50 carats, one small diamond deficient, on average G-I colour, SI-I clarity, as gauged and graded in the mount. Fitted case signed J. Chaumet, Sr de Morel & Cie. London New Bond Street 154, Paris Rue de Richelieu 62, the exterior of the case with the monogram G.B.M. and a Marquis crown.
