- Sapphire, ruby, diamond and platinum
One ring set with a cushion-shaped sapphire weighing 3.96 carats, between fancy-shaped diamonds, size 49; the second set with an oval ruby weighing 1.89 carats, framed within tapered baguette diamonds, size 481/2.
Condition
Accompanied by SSEF report no. 81027, stating that the sapphire, measuring 11.35 x 8.39 x 4.03 mm and weighing 3.96 carats, is of Ceylon origin, with no indications of heating.
Sapphire ring: Stamped Pt 950 for platinum. Sapphire of medium strong saturation, few inclusions visible with the aid of a 10x loupe, very few small scratches and abrasions. Diamonds bright and lively.
Ruby ring: Stamped Pt 950 for platinum. Ruby estimated to measure approximately 10.35 x 8.15 x 1.90 mm and estimated to weigh approximately 1.20 carats, as gauged in the mounting, pinkish red of medium strong saturation, with typical crystal inclusions, few surface reaching, few small nicks and abrasions. Diamonds bright and lively.
Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with use. In good condition. Total gross weight approximately 13 grams.
