The cushion-shaped rubies weighing 5.82 and 7.81 carats, accented with marquise-shaped and brilliant-cut diamonds, Italian maker’s marks, one small diamond deficient.

Condition

Rubies of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US. This piece contains a ruby of Burmese origin and therefore cannot be imported into the US. Please contact the jewellery department for further information or see our Important Notices. The revised estimate is 58'000-86'000 CHF / 60'000 - 90'000 US$. Accompanied by SSEF report no. 77138, stating that the ruby weighing 5.82 carats, measuring approximately 11.41 x 10.45 x 4.94 mm, is of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating. Each with Italian maker's marks. Each stamped Pt900 for platinum and OR to clip fitting for gold. The ruby weighing 7.81 carats, measuring 11.74 x 11.02 x 6.27 mm, is of Thai origin, with indications of heating. Rubies of medium strong saturation, the 7.81 carat ruby of slightly darker purplish red hue, both with typical inclusions, some surface reaching, a few minor nicks, scratches and abrasions; for further information please refer to the SSEF report. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 2.50-3.00 carats, bright and lively, one small diamond deficient. Signs of normal wear to the mounting commensurate with age. Total gross weight approximately 17 grams.
