Description
- ruby, white gold
Centring on a cushion-shaped ruby, surrounded by eight similarly-cut rubies, the rubies together weighing 15.09 carats, to a triple-split mount set with circular-cut rubies together weighing approximately 1.00 carat, mounted in 18 karat white gold. Ring size: 6
Condition
Colour and Clarity: According to Gübelin report, the rubies are natural, of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating. Please refer to the report for details. In our opinion, the largest ruby in the middle weighing approximately 5.05 carat, is of bright, intense purplish red colour, eye clean with fine brilliance. Other rubies in the surround are of slightly stronger colour. Upon 10x loupe, there is a tiny nick on the crown of the ruby in middle, not seen to naked eyes. Generally, there are natural inclusions and a few stones may have surface reaching fissures or nicks, not seen to naked eyes and very common in natural rubies. Other tiny rubies on shank are strong red colour, eye clean.
Condition: Karat white gold ring mount, in very good condition.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Please note that jadeite and rubies of Burmese origin and articles of jewellery containing jadeite or rubies of Burmese origin all less than 100 years old may not be imported into the US. The purchaser's inability to import any item into the U.S. or any other country as a result of these or other restrictions shall not justify cancellation or rescission of the sale or any delay in payment. Please check with the specialist department if you are uncertain as to whether a lot is subject to these import restrictions, or any other restrictions on importation or exportation
