Composed of graduated links, each centring on an oval alexandrite, surrounded by eight oval alexandrites together weighing 21.68 carats, connected by diamond-set links, the smaller alexandrites and diamonds together weighing approximately 19.65 and 9.65 carats respectively; and pair of matching earrings, each suspending an oval alexandrite weighing 2.03 and 2.00 carats respectively, surrounded by eight oval alexandrites, to a diamond-set surmount, the smaller alexandrites and diamonds altogether weighing approximately 3.00 and 1.50 carats respectively; mounted in platinum, length approximately 420mm. Colour and Clarity: According to the Gubelin reports, the centre alexandrites on the necklace and earrings ranging from 1.00 to 2.56 carats are of Brazilian origin, with pronounced colour change from bluish green or green/ purple green in daylight to purple/ violet/ violetish-purple in incandescent light. Please refer to the reports for details. Under 10x loupe, there may be some minor inclusions, mainly on the side of a few stones, otherwise, generally clean. The smaller alexandrites in the surround are of similar colour and clarity. In our opinion, the diamonds are about F to G colours, VVS to VS clarity. Condition: Well made, in mint condition.
