Description
- star sapphire, diamond, white gold
Centring on a star sapphire weighing 19.17 carats, to a frame set with circular-cut diamonds, suspending numerous briolette diamonds, the diamonds together weighing approximately 2.50 carats, mounted in 18 karat white gold. Ring size: 5
Condition
Colour and Clarity: According to Gübelin report, the star sapphire is natural, of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating. Please refer to the report for details. In our opinion, the star sapphire is of bright intense blue colour, displaying a centered and distinct six-ray asterism (star effect) upon spot lighting. Upon 10x loupe, there are silk inclusions and colour zoning, not noticeable and very common in star sapphires. Briolette diamonds are about H to I colours, VS2 to SI clarity. Other tiny round diamonds are about F to G colours, VS clarity.
Condition: Karat white gold ring mount, in very good condition.
