Description
- Platinum, sapphire and diamond
Of cluster design, each set with an oval and two cushion-shaped sapphires, decorated by marquise-shaped diamonds, the sapphires and diamonds altogether weighing approximately 19.55 and 6.40 carats respectively, mounted in platinum, with clip and post fittings.
Condition
Colour and Clarity: According to AGL reports, all sapphires are natural, of Ceylon origin, with no indications of heating and clarity enhancement. Please refer to the reports for details. In our opinion, five sapphires are of medium intense blue colour and one is of violet-blue colour, all clean to naked eyes. Upon 10x loupe, there are natural inclusions and some surface abrasions or tiny chips on crown facets, not seen to naked eyes. Diamonds are about G to H colours, VS to SI clarity.
Condition: Platinum mounts, in very good condition.
In response to your inquiry, we are pleased to provide you with a general report of the condition of the property described above. Since we are not professional conservators or restorers, we urge you to consult with a restorer or conservator of your choice who will be better able to provide a detailed, professional report. Prospective purchasers are reminded that, unless the catalogue description specifically states that a stone is natural, we have assumed that some form of treatment may have been used and that such treatment may not be permanent. Our presale estimates reflect this assumption.
