Each set with a translucent jadeite of emerald green colour meticulously carved as a cicada, to a surmount set with two radiant-cut pink diamonds and a yellow diamond, embellished by circular-cut diamonds, the diamonds altogether weighing approximately 2.10 carats, mounted in 18 karat white and pink gold.  

Colour and Clarity: According to the Jadeite Jade Testing Certificate, the jadeite "cicada" are natural, Type A Jadeite Jade. Please refer to the certificate for details. In our opinion, the jadeite "cicada" are well-matching, has good translucency, of intense emerald green colour. Upon strong illumination, there are cloud inclusions, not noticeable in normal lighting. Four pink diamonds together weighing approximately 1.15 carats, are of medium to slightly deep saturation, VS to SI clarity. Two yellow diamonds in the surmounts together weighing approximately 0.80 carat, are of intense yellow and greenish yellow tone, SI and VS clarity respectively. Other tiny diamonds are about G to H colour, VS clarity. Condition: Very fine carving, in very good condition. IMPORTANT NOTICE: Please note that jadeite and rubies of Burmese origin and articles of jewellery containing jadeite or rubies of Burmese origin all less than 100 years old may not be imported into the US. The purchaser's inability to import any item into the U.S. or any other country as a result of these or other restrictions shall not justify cancellation or rescission of the sale or any delay in payment. Cicada is regarded as the sacred animal symbol of long life, good luck, happiness and eternal youth due to its intrinsic properties of being the longest living insect. The cicada motif is common in jadeite carvings and the insect is often shown on a leaf or a bamboo, symbolizing the ideal morality of Chinese literati.
