Description

  • conch pearl, diamond, platinum
Each suspending a conch pearl, surmounted by a button-shaped conch pearl, linked by pear-shaped and brilliant-cut diamonds altogether weighing approximately 2.30 carats, the four conch pearls measuring approximately 12.65 x 8.55 x 6.96mm to 7.84 x 7.73 x 5.85mm, mounted in platinum.

Condition

Colour and Clarity: According to GIA report, all four conch pearls are natural, saltwater pearls, with no indications of treatment. Please refer to the report for details. In our opinion, the conch pearls are of matching colour. Two pearls on the surmount are of roundish button-shape, and two drops are of ovoid shape, with medium to noticeable surface flame pattern, ceramic lustre. Diamonds are about F to H colours, VS clarity. Condition: Platinum mounts, in very good condition.
In response to your inquiry, we are pleased to provide you with a general report of the condition of the property described above. Since we are not professional conservators or restorers, we urge you to consult with a restorer or conservator of your choice who will be better able to provide a detailed, professional report. Prospective buyers should inspect each lot to satisfy themselves as to condition and must understand that any statement made by Sotheby's is merely a subjective qualified opinion.
