Description
- emerald, diamond, platinum
Centring on a cushion-shaped emerald weighing 8.36 carats, flanked by two half-moon shaped diamonds weighing 0.64 and 0.56 carat respectively, mounted in platinum. Ring size: 6¼
Condition
Colour and Clarity: According to the Gubelin, SSEF and AGL reports, the emerald is of Colombian orign with no indications of clarity enhancement. The AGL report also gives it a gem worthy distinction with the highest orgin determination. Two half-moon diamonds, according to GIA reports, are D and E colour, VVS2 and VS1 clarity respectively. Please refer to the reports for details. In our opinion, the emerald is of saturated brilliant slightly bluish green colour, very fine crystalline clarity particularly for an emerald that has not been clarity enhanced. Under 10x loupe, there are some minor natural inclusions, particularly on one side, but generally eye-clean.
Condition: Platinum ring mount, in mint condition.
