The two lovebirds decorated with cabochon sapphires and rubies, and single-cut diamonds, resting atop a gold branch decorated with circular-cut ruby, sapphire and diamond flowers, the dial decorated with floral motifs and Roman numberals, signed Van Cleef & Arpels, numbered, French assay and maker's marks

Cabochon sapphires well matched in colour, blue of medium light saturation, with typical inclusions, a few surface reaching. Rubies and sapphires well matched in colour, with typical inclusions, a few surface reaching, some nicks and abrasions. Diamonds bright and lively. In good condition, well preserved. Gross weight approximately 81 grams.
