The round open-work plaque depicting the head of a panther set with brilliant-cut diamonds, black lacquer and a pear-shaped emerald eye, suspended from a black cord, signed Cartier, numbered, French assay and maker's marks, cord terminals with mark for Cartier, length approximately 715mm.

Plaque signed Cartier, numbered 68302A; French maker's mark for Perroud, 33 quai Saint-Antoine, 69002 Lyon; stamped 750 and with French assay mark for gold. Cord terminals stamped with mark for Cartier and a French maker's mark, stamped 750 for 18 carat gold. Emerald clean to the naked eye with medium strong saturation. Diamonds bright and lively. No evidence of wear to the metal or cord, in like new condition. Total gross weight approximately 19 grams.
