- Rubies, diamonds, gold
Set with a cushion-shaped diamond between graduated lines of circular-cut, oval and cushion-shaped rubies, within stylised scroll motifs of pavé-set circular-cut and baguette diamonds, length approximately 170mm, French assay and maker's marks.
Condition

Accompanied by SSEF report no. 79749, stating that the twenty rubies weighing from approximately 0.50 to 1.70 carats, weighing a total of approximately 23 carats, are of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating.
French maker's mark. French assay marks for platinum and on the clasp for gold. Rubies well-matched in colour, red of medium strong saturation, with typical inclusions, some surface reaching, and minor abrasions visible under magnification. In our experts' opinion, the central diamond measuring approximately 8.58 x 8.58 x 5.83mm, calculated to weigh approximately 2.50-2.80 carats, is J colour, I clarity, as gauged and graded in the mounting. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 15.00 - 18.00 carats, on average G - I colour, VS - SI clarity, as gauged and graded in the mounting. Signs of normal wear to the metal. Clasp secure. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 67 grams.
