Catalogue Note

Margaret and her husband Gilbert became close friends with Man Ray and Juliet and they introduced Henry Miller and Man Ray in the early 1940s. Man Ray included this image in his unique handmade album of photographs One Sunday in California, 1941-42, under the title "Reversed".
