- Five silver prints, three mounted. One annotated Epreuve provisoire in pencil by the artist at upper left and stamped 'Man Ray 31 bis, Rue Campagne Première Paris' on the reverse. One print annotated 'Original wooden chessmen 1920' and signed in ink on the reverse.

Condition
These five prints are in excellent general condition. One print with the lower right corner slightly worn and the upper left corner with tiny and light scratches, and with light traces of retouching in the right area of the image. One print with the upper right corner slightly worn.

Five photographs, including one of Man Ray's first wood chess set from 1920 (today owned by the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York), three of his 1926 silver set after the 1920 set and made for the Maharajah of Indore, and one of the 1926 chess table designed by Man Ray with Jean-Michel Frank (today owned by the Museum of Modern Art, New York).
