- Silver print, printed later on Agfa paper. Annotated tête de femme (plâtre) in pencil by the artist on the reverse.
- 11.6 by 8.9 cm, 4 ½ by 3 ½ in.
Condition
This print is in very good general condition. With a few light stains visible in raking light only.

The present photograph is one of a series of images Man Ray made of plaster casts of heads of classical sculptures, with applied make up. Some were chosen for publication in 1932 alongside articles by Helena Rubinstein and Elizabeth Arden in the fashion magazine Fémina.
