- Oil on canvas
- 71 by 94 cm.; 27 3/4 by 37 in.

Condition
The work is in good condition overall, as is the canvas, which is clear and sound. There is light wear and handling predominantly on the right and bottom margins of the painting. Upon close observation, there is evidence of minute paint loss on the area above the signature, along with networks of soft craquelures on the top left corner, top middle register (sky), left middle register (ocean), center bottom register (ocean) and right middle register (blue paint). There is also evidence of pin-sized dirt particles scattered throughout the background and media accretion on the top right corner. Examination under ultraviolet light shows minor touch-ups primarily on the figures, boat and the ground (bottom right corner), however not visible to the naked eye. Framed.
