Condition
The canvas has been laid down on panel and surface has been pressed as a result. under a dirty and dull varnish. there is a small paint loss at center and two others at far right side (all visible in the catalogue image). detail is still quite well preserved and overall the picture reads well. under UV light: some scattered retouches to the figures, mostly on the group at far left and center. some small dots of retouching to sky areas.
Offered in a carved and gilt wood frame with some nicks and losses at corners.
