Condition
Relined and under a dirty and yellowed old varnish. a vertical scratch or possible old repaired tear can be seen in sky at upper left with a few small losses at lower end. overall, the paint surface has been very well preserved with good impasto and lovely retention of detail throughout. under UV light, very little fluoresces, just a few very tiny scattered retouches. painting would benefit from a light cleaning and should be a very attractive and decorative image.
