Condition

Both have old glue relinings which are firm and stable. the paint surfaces on both are generally well retained and there is very good preservation of detail throughout. Riva degli Schiavoni looking East (Doge's Palace) under UV light: there is retouching along upper edge; scattered very small retouches in sky and just a few in architecture and foreground. Molo looking West under UV: scattered retouches throughout sky; there is a possible repaired tear/puncture in sky lower center; only a few retouches here and there in architecture and foreground. paintings are presentable and can be hung as is. Offered in elaborately carved and gilt wood frames.
