Both paintings have been very thinly relined. paint surfaces on both are well retained with very nice detail lin architecture and figures. sky areas are more thinly painted. Salute paintng under UV: there are some very small scattered retouches in sky. a few here and there can be seen in the darks of foreground and an area in the archway at far right side. Piazzetta painting under UV: some retouching can be seen along top and side of Doge's Palace. otherwise just a few pinprick retouches in sky upper left. Paintings are presentable and can be hung as is with no need for further work. Offered in black and gilt wood frames.
