Condition
The canvas has not been lined. There are some fine lines of drying craquelure primarily in the dark brown of the donkeys' bodies. Ultraviolet light reveals only a couple of very minor thin strokes of retouching towards the upper left corner. This work is otherwise in good, virtually original condition.
Presented in an elaborate gold-painted frame.
