The complete portfolio, comprising eight prints in colors, 1984, each signed in pencil and numbered 153/250, except the Hockney inscribed 'A. P.' (total edition also includes either 30 or 40 artist's proofs), on various wove papers, published by The Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles, contained in the orginial gray cloth-bound portfolio box with yellow lettering designed by Richard Kosuth (8 prints)
Condition
The prints are in good condition, with full margins and fresh colors. The verso, with several hinge remnants and adhesive-backed foam on the top edge of each print, except for the Kelly and Hockney. Occasional soft handling creases and surface soiling.
Additional imperfections particular to individual prints include:
Andy Warhol: Creasing and associated ink loss in the top left corner.
David Hockney: Several fox marks in bottom left corner.
