Three Mylar screenprints backed with sailcloth and mounted on a wooden lightbox, 1985, signature and date incised into metal plate, from the edition of 25 (total edition includes 7 artist's proofs), from the Sling-Shots Lit series, published by Gemini G.E.L., Los Angeles
Condition
The installation is in good condition, with full screen-printed Mylar sheets and the complete lightbox. The framed screenprint with surface soiling and inconspicuous creasing due to slack in the stretcher. The sailcloth backing separating from the Mylar screenprint, only visible from the verso, several areas of brown discoloration and an occasional spider web. The two additional screenprints with unobtrusive scratches to their surface. The lightbox, with minor abrasions, the wood occasionally dented and white residue on its left side.
