Condition

Pile generallly good, near original 1/8in. with areas of foldwear and moth damage and foldwear low to knottheads and spot foundation. Two 2in. by 1in. reweaves in upper end edge. Some glue residue at upper edge on revese; possibly from gluing down the flatwoven finish. Sides overcast in burgundy wool. Upper end with flatwoven finish, lower ends with cloth binding sewn along the edge, now fraying iin corners. Dark ink stain on reverse on right side, not visible on the face and probably from another rug. Lustrous. supple handle, good condition.
