Condition

Pile generally good, mostly near original 1/8in. with scattered areas of foldwear through center low to knotheads. Small vertical foldwear areas along lower edge. A 2in. by 3/4in. reweave in upper edge at peak with two small reweaves also along upper edge. Sides with remnants of original selvages, now with fraying and losses and a 2.5in. by 1/2in. reweave in upper left side. Lower end with original flatwoven finish folded under and sewn, also with madder and indigo cablework on the face extant. Upper end with partial outer edge guard stripe, now secured with a binding stitch. Highly lustrous wool, good dense weave and color, supple handle, good condition.
