Pile generally good, near original closesly shorn 1/10in. with dark browns partially oxidized. Crimson silk used in a number of flowers. Crimson silk oxidized to knotheads and spot foundation. Upper left corner with vertical foldwear slits and some repaired slits with glue residue on reverse. Glue residue also on reverse on lower right edge. Ends with original 1/2in. ivory flatwoven finish and macrame fringes. Small scattered holes in flatweave and some losses ot fringes. Sides later overcast in brown wool. Lustrous wool and supple handle, good overall condition.
