Condition

Pile ranges from near original 1/8in. with areas of foldwear and wear and oxidized browns low to knotheads. A 2ft. by 10in. rewoven area in field; part of willow tree to left side. Smaller scattered rewoven areas; all very well executed and most visible only on reverse.Sides later overcast with brown wool. Remnants of original flatwoven end finishes, now predominantly redone on both ends. Thus sides and ends now secured. Sound fabric and condition. Please note that a license may be required to export textiles, rugs and carpets of Iranian origin from the United States. Clients should enquire with the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) regarding export requirements.
