Condition
Pile generally good with areas of foldwear low to knotheads and foundation, particularly along central axis. Some vertical foldwear in field. Scattered moth damage, most visible along edges of carpet, particularly on left side. Original flatwoven end finished and knotted fringes intact with minor losses. Original ivory selvages with some fraying and later overcasting. Very lustrous wool, supple handle, sound fabric and good overall condition.
