Condition

Pile ranges from near original approx. 1/6th of an inch to low to knotheads in areas of scattered foldwear and oxidized browns and olives. Some of the foldwear now repiled, some further repiling to areas of varying sizes. Repiling generally well executed. Some minor scattered spot stains. Upper end outer guard border rewoven, lower end complete and now with a chain stitch. Sides overcast. Supple handle, lustrous wool. Extremely attractive soft color palette. Sounds fabric and condition, ready for use. Please note that a license may be required to export textiles, rugs and carpets of Iranian origin from the United States. Clients should enquire with the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) regarding export requirements. Please check with the Carpet department if you are uncertain as to whether a lot is subject to this restriction or if you need assistance.
