For additional examples, see Sotheby’s London, 17 July 1999, lots 293-295, illustrated, and a plate with a copy after Kauffmann’s “The Punishment of Cupid” in N.B. von Wolf (ed. T.N. Nosovich), Imperatorskii farforovyi zavod, 1744-1904, St. Petersburg, 2003, unpaginated insert opposite p. 112.
