the icon finely painted to reflect the decoration of the oklad including pearl robes and enameled crown; the gilded silver oklad, Moscow, early 19th century (date obscured), 84 standard, with later control mark, the oklad chased in high-relief and with halos engraved with scrolling ornament, the halo of the Mother of God with crown in cloisonné, apparently unmarked, the Holy Figures' robes embroidered with pearls

very impressive icon, overall good condition; the enameled crown slightly loose, the oklad with some dents and accretions consistent with age, the pearl robes with some loose threads; the surface of the icon with some areas of loss from the back of the oklad
