the gilded silver oklad chased with scrolling foliate border, the Holy Figures' robes in parcel gilt and set with paste flowerheads, the oklad applied with halo and shaped corner plaques enameled with brightly colored flowers against a stippled gilt ground, struck with unrecorded maker's mark A.A, Moscow, 1908-1917, 84 standard
Condition
the icon with some small wear from the back of the oklad, including a square of 2.5 x 1.5 cm at lower right border; the oklad with some wear, the plaque at lower left slightly loose
