the saint depicted standing full length surrounded by scenes from her life, including vanquishing demons and her martyrdom, the gilded silver oklad chased to reproduce all of these scenes and including extensive explanatory texts, struck with initials TT of an unrecorded maker, Nizhnii Novgorod, circa 1830, 84 standard
Condition
the icon with some small wear and two small cracks near the base, the cover with wear to the gilding and typical small dents and nicks consistent with age
