both opening to reveal fittings for photographs, the larger engraved with a cross and set with cabochon turquoises, the second with a diamond-set horseshoe, both struck with 56 standard and obscured maker's marks
Condition
the larger egg lacking the glass in the interior photograph frame fitting, the smaller with interior fittings intact but with some scattered scratches around the opening
