Excellent condition. A hairline crack to glaze in the base by the figure's left foot, approx 1.5cm long.

The first of the great post-war Soviet ballerinas, Galina Ulanova (1910-1998) was hand-picked by Stalin from the Mariinsky Theatre for the Bolshoi in 1944, where she was prima ballerina for sixteen years.
