Condition
Very good condition. Two very small areas of glazing loss to the reverse of the figure's jacket, just above the belt.

Catalogue Note
Leonid Vitalyevich Sobinov (1872-1934) was an operatic tenor of both Imperial and Soviet Russia. He first performed at the Bolshoi in 1897 and was elected the first director of the theatre after the Revolution; he was named a People's Artist of the USSR in 1923.
