the lid cast and chased with an Imperial eagle within a lozenge, the corners with leaves and berries, the reverse engraved with signatures in Russian: Alexandra/ Olga/ Maria/ Tatiana/ Anastasia/ Alexei, cabochon sapphire thumbpiece, gilt interior, struck K. Fabergé in Cyrillic beneath the Imperial Warrant, 88 standard, in original red leather presentation case, the lid with tooled and gilded Imperial eagle

Condition
Very good condition. There are light surface scratches consistent with some use. One corner of the base with one shallow dent. The leather case: Fabergé mark on the lid lining has faded; the leather with minor scuffing as expected.
