Description

  • width 24cm, 9 1/2 in.
each side applied with a portrait medallion of a classical figure, possibly Paris, in a Phrygian cap within a raised cartouche, the frieze of pierced coin moulding, engraved initial D, paw feet, gilt interior, ivory handle and finial, 84 standard

Condition

Excellent condition. The lid and body with minor casting flaws, the surface with very light scratches and one or two minor indentations less than 1mm deep consistent with age and use. The finial slightly loose.
