The canvas has not been relined. Ultra-violet light reveals some minor spots of retouching, notably clustered small spots in a circa 9 by 1cm area of the wall to the left of the figure (possibly addressing an old abrasion). This painting is in good overall condition and ready to hang. Presented in a typical decorative gilt frame.
