The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration although the red is brighter in the original work. The work is executed on its original canvas and is not relined. The rim of the edges present some very light and minor wear marks, visible only under close inspection. Under Ultra Violet light inspection, the left and lower edges present some minor dots of retouching. Moreover, three small areas have been carefully retouched, one located 26,5 cm from the left edge and 3 cm from the upper edge, the other 56 cm from the left edge and 10 cm from the upper edge, and finally one on the upper right quadrant. This work is in good condition.
