Condition
The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration although the overall tonality is slightly deeper in the original work. Moreover, the image does not accurately convey the texture of the work.
The work is executed on its original canvas and is not relined.
Due to the thickness of the medium and support, the black impastos present some superficial stabilized cracks, visible in the catalogue illustration.
Under Ultra Violet light inspection, these cracks fluoresce, as do the edges of the upper left, lower left and lower right corners and the middle of the right edge.
This work is in good condition overall.
